Web Developer – Full Stack – Full Time – Remote


We seek a skilled programmer interested in collaborating on our enterprise-level fintech web application. You will develop, build, and maintain full-stack software systems, and work in linux-based cloud infrastructure

As part of the team at Opus2 Mobile Solutions, you’ll work in an agile, fast-paced environment with a highly experienced Technical Director and a focused team. You will have many opportunities to challenge yourself, to have a direct impact on customer needs, and to grow as a developer.

You will be a member of a team developing a FinTech application which solves real-world challenges. The product is “BrokrBindr”, which is a document- and data-management tool used by mortgage professionals (agents and mortgage brokers) across Canada. BrokrBindr aims to give its customers a significant competitive advantage over their competitors

This position is most likely to be filled by a developer with at least some of the following skills:

Your expertise:

  • PHP 5.6+
  • Laravel 5.4
  • AngularJS 1.4 (not Angular 2+)
  • Java
  • MySQL
  • Git

Nice to have:

  • Selenium WebDriver

Your experience:

  • Web development
  • Integrating 3rd party APIs
  • Installing and configuring software in Debian linux
  • Debugging PHP (Xdebug) and javascript (within the web browser)


  • English
  • Fluency in French is desirable and advantageous

You will report directly to both the owner/founder of the company, and to our experienced senior lead developer.

This is a “remote work” position. You are expected to have your own workplace, computer, microphone, speakers and webcam.

This position will begin with a minimum three months probation. Health and dental benefits are available to Canadians after the end of probation. This position is open to non-Canadians as well, as independent contractors.
